Telangana to host international conference on Technology for Education
The seventh three-day IEEE International Conference on Technology for Education will be organized at National Institute of Technology, Warangal, Telangana, from December 10 to 12. The conference will focus on advanced learning technologies and pedagogy for technology-enhanced learning, innovative use of ICT for content development and classroom use.
According to the organizers, the conference will provide a forum to bring together academicians, researchers, practitioners and industrialists who share their latest research results and experiences through paper presentations, workshops, keynotes, panel discussions and exhibitions. 

The areas of focus include topics that integrate technology with education such as adaptive, cognitive and personalized approaches for improvement of education; assessment and evaluation models; bridging urban-rural gap in education; cognition and learning technologies; curriculum design for technology enhanced learning; development of technologies to support education and many more.

In the area of e-learning, the topics such as e-learning in vernacular languages; learning analytics; game-based learning; open educational resources; hand held device-based learning; impact of social networks on learning; infrastructure for large scale deployment of e-learning; innovative use of ICT for education; techniques and standards for learning resources; technology-based learning environments; massively open online learning; virtual experimentation and scalable solutions; pedagogies for e-learning, blended learning; technology-enhanced learning; semantic web technologies in education; socio-economic factors reducing the impact of technology in education, and similar topics of one's choice.
