Sachin Tendulkar completed his 49th test hundred during the second cricket test match against visitors Australia at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Monday.

Tendulkar reached the magical figure in style smashing a ball from Nathan Hauritz over wide long-on for a six. The entire M Chinnaswamy Stadium crowd erupted and cheered the little master wildly for accomplishing another achievement.
India had started their inning on Monday morning from 128 runs for the loss of Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid's wickets. Overnight batsman Murali Vijay and Tendulkar were on 42 and 44 respectively. First the master blaster completed his fifty in 91 deliveries than Murali Vijay did the same in 105 balls. At lunch, India were 224 runs for the loss of two wickets. Sachin is at the crease on 106 runs and Murali Vijay is playing on 73 runs. India is still 254 runs behind the Aussies in the first inning of Bangalore test.
On day two, in the second cricket test match between India and Australia, the visitors were all out for 478 runs. Left-handed batsman Marcus North scored 128 runs, while, wicket-keeper batsman Tim Paine made 59 runs. Indian spinners Harbhajan Singh and Pragyan Ojha shared four and three wickets respectively, whereas, Zaheer Khan and Suresh Raina shared one each.
On Sunday, Sachin Tendulkar had capped another feather as he crossed the 14,000 runs mark in test cricket. Before the ongoing test he was on 13,973 runs in 170 test matches with an average of 56.11.
