Latest news from Tennis world is Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza's engagement called off. Sania Mirza got engaged last year to her Hyderabad based long time beau Sohrab Mirza, who happens to be the son of her family's friend, and roughly six months have passed and she has decided to call off the engagement. Sania Mirza and Sohrab Mirza were formally engaged last July.

Tennis star 23-year-old Sania Mirza's father Imran, called off his daughter's engagement to Mohammed Sohrab Mirza. Her father Imran also coaches her and manages her career. It is rumoured that Sania Mirza was not being able to concentrate on her career due to the relationship issues. Earlier Indian tennis beauty Sania Mirza had wished to hang her racket after marrying Sohrab Mirza. Sohrab Mirza is currently studying business in the United Kingdom.

Sania, who is in Melbourne for the Australian Open will go to Kuala Lumpur on Friday to lead India's challenge in the Fed Cup Asia Oceania Group II competition, refused to give the exact reasons about the called off of engagement but just confirmed the news.
