The story revolves around a Pakistani news reporter, who strives to make it big and realize his great American dream. In order to do so, he bumps into an Osama look alike and then the story is presented in a satirical manner about the after events.

AN UPCOMING Indian comedy Tere Bin Laden (Without You Laden) that takes a satirical dig on the Al-Qaeda mastermind, Osama Bin Laden has been banned by the Pakistani censor board on grounds of avoiding terror strikes in the country.

The distributors anticipated a possible attack by Islamic extremists as a pretext. The movie was scheduled to be release in Pakistan this Friday.

The distributors said that the an appeal has been filed with the censor board to uplift the decision and to unscrap the label that it been provided with, “unsuitable for public exhibition”. A statement by censor board says that it is a controversial subject that depicts the character of Osama in a comic way and also carries vulgar, objectionable dialogues, abuses and derogatory remarks.

It is not an unprecedented move in Pakistan to ban Indian origin films keeping in mind the subject that it carries since both the countries have been arch rivals since decades.
