Terror vote bank: The secular fear factor
It was not intelligence failure, it was not the failure of Patil, it was not the incompetent police force, but it was an unknown fear of the ruling UPA Government which made our nation the laughing stock in the international stage
AS PREDICTED a long ago, that there is going to be a terror vote bank in India to serve our pseudo secular political parties like the Congress, Samajwadi Party (SP), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Communist Party (CPI), Communist Party Marxist (CPM) etc, if the trend of pseudo secularism was allowed to dance beyond a point of tolerance. The fear has come true today.
If the spine chilling headline in
The Hindu ( September 15, 2008), is an indication towards this fear, then it is here to hold our breath for a while.
UP stalled action in Delhi blast
It is neither Pakistan, nor Bangladesh and nor Nepal that is stalling action against Delhi terror suspects, but it is our own heartland of Uttar Pradesh (UP), preventing the cops from arresting the Delhi blast suspects who are reportedly hiding in UP, giving the reason, that it might fuel communal clashes.
This shows how low our weak-willed political leaders can stoop at the cost of the nation’s security.
After the Delhi blasts, India has been exposed to the world outside as a hollow nation, devoid of basic human values and principles as she stands now. In the world map, being the only democratic country where terror attacks and bomb blasts are taking place at a regular intervals it is being bracketed with Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
We have weaved around us a web of pseudo fear of secularism that is preventing us to take stern action against terror; the reason being that they belong to a minority community.
None of the journalists, who attended the press meet of our railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, dared to point out that it was he who out and out supported the Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) and is now making every effort to present himself as clean, blaming the home minister for the failure.
It was not intelligence failure, it was not the failure of Patil, it was not the incompetent police force, it was not the lack of coordination among various departments, but it was due to an unknown fear of the ruling UPA government.
There is a fear among the ruling UPA functionaries that any strict action against the SIMI leaders and a strict investigation into the blasts might be dubbed as communal by the media and the pseudo intellectuals across the country who are waiting for the opportune moment to blackmail the government and the police force with false stories of harassment of the innocent Muslim youths etc.
Our fear comes true early. Now terror blackmail is making rounds of the country pushing the ruling UPA Government into the horror of communalism and making this democracy vulnerable to such future attacks and also pushing the country towards a civil war situation.
Indian police is more efficient than our counterparts in Europe in bursting the terror network, but their hands are tied by the Congress party owing to the fear of secularism. In Andhra Pradesh, the chief minister has ordered the police force to go slow against terror.
We have become the laughing stock in international scenario.
