US-based electric car maker, Tesla has unveiled prototype of its cheapest electric car priced at $35,000 (Rs 23,21,200.00 as of today) in Hawthorne, California outside Los Angeles. This is the cheapest car by Tesla; otherwise it is their nature to make cars worth more than Rs 6 crore on an average.

Seeing a huge demand for cheap electric cars, but a less supply in the market, and a growing awareness about environmental threats which combustion engine cars do, Tesla unvieled its Sedan "Model 3" yesterday on 31st March 2016.

The car can run 215 miles (346.009 kilometers) on a single full charge. The car can reach 100 kmph in 0 to 6 seconds. There are 5 adult seats with 5-star safety ratings in all categories. Surprisingly the car has autopilot safety features, which no other car manufacturer provides in this segment in this price.

It is equipped with fast supercharger technology, this technology is so rare in cars that only 3608 cars worldwide use this, installation of this technology in this car has made it a must buy for eco-friendly peoples.

The car is expected to be launched in India soon. In wake of the plans like Odd-Even in India, Tesla's Model 3 can expect to do a brisk business in the country.

The car's pre-ordering has already started. Whoever wants to own this car can register at an initial price of $1,000 (66,300.00 INR, as of today) at Tesla's official website.
