Thai people most likely to cheat in a relationship: Study
In this fast world almost everyone cheats on his/ her partner either emotionally or physically. Though lesser number of people cheat physically, except Thai people, who according to a survey seemed to be fine even with the physical aspect.

IT IS believed that marrying for love only became prevalent in the 18th century. Before that marriage was coming together of a business partnership and anyone who was in love with his wife was looked down upon. Infidelity was looked as the norm where it was perfectly fine for men and women to have lovers outside their marriage. However with time, this concept changed and we live in an era where to be in love with anyone other than one's husband, boyfriend is actually an emotional felony.

In spite of that, infidelity has not declined with time and even today many men and women find solace in the embrace of people other than their lawfully wedded partner. When Durex conducted a sex survey, it was found that Thai people are the world's most unfaithful people when it comes to relationships. The survey was conducted on 29,000 people in 36 countries and Thai couples made it to the first rank as the most infidel group followed by South Korea and Malaysia. The survey did not distinguish between married couples and live-in partners.

As far as women are concerned, it was the Ghanian women (62 percent) who ranked first as the most infidel and second were Thai women (59 percent). Women from Malaysia, Russia, and Singapore followed with 39 per cent, 33 per cent and 19 per cent, respectively, according to Asia One.

However, Supensri Puengkoksung of the Women and Men Progressive Movement Foundation did not agree with the survey, saying that it did not reflect the real situation of Thailand. She said that it reflected what was said by people who were approached and were ready to answer the survey. In addition to her words a deputy director of the Mental Health Department, Dr Tawee Tangseri also pointed out that since Thai women follow tradition and preserved their purity he does not believe that they cheat on their husbands or better half.
