Thailand's princess visits Jaya Siri Maha Bodhi Vihara
Princess Bajrakitiyabha of Thailand visited the Jaya siri Maha Bodhi Vihara (Maha Bodhi Society of India, Buddhagaya Centre) along with other delegates on Wednesday.

The Joint Secretary of the Maha Bodhi Society of India and Bhikku-In-Charge of the Maha Bodhi Society of India, Buddhagaya Centre Ven. K Medhankara Thero warmly welcomed and led the princess to offer prayers in the Jaya Siri Maha Bodhi Vihara.

The Thai Princess paid her respect to the relics of the Buddha and his two chief disciples Arahant Mahamogallana and Arahant Sariputta.

A program was also hosted by the Maha Bodhi Society of India, Buddhagaya Centre for princess where Uday Narayan Choudhary, Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly was also present.

She offered prayers in the Maha Bodhi Maha Vihara, sat on meditation under the Bodhi tree where Prince Siddharth attained Buddhahood and also visited the Muchlind pond on the southern end of the Maha Bodhi Maha Vihara campus.

Today the princess left Bodh Gaya for Rajgir and Nalanda. She will leave for Bangkok in evening today. She is supposed to take her flight from Gaya in Bihar.
