Aarushi Talwar, the 14-year old daughter of the dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar of Delhi was murdered in their flat, as was their domestic help but the murderer continues to roam free even after 3 years.
THE MURDER of Aarushi Talwar had made headlines in May 2008 and was being talked about at all forums, and TV news channels tried to reconstruct the events of that fateful night, but the killer could not be caught.

The parents of Aarushi were the prime suspects but, even though they had been arrested by the UP Police and interrogated by the CBI, the culprit could not be identified and the CBI wanted to close the case citing the lack of evidence – they filed a closure report. But the Ghaziabad trial court did not accept the report.
The Talwars had been appealing to all the courts and had finally approached the Supreme Court to treat the case as closed but the SC has turned down the appeal. Rajesh and Nupur Talwar would now be tried as prime suspects in the murder of their daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj on 15-16th of May 2008.
It may be recalled that all the prima-facie evidence did point the fingers at the involvement of the parents.
