The ever patriotic Akshay Kumar would be next seen in yet another film that arouses love for the country
Akshay Kumar these days prefers to do movies which either have some social relevance or directly connect with the audience and spark a feeling of patriotism in them.

According to Spotboye, this actor has lately signed a movie which has patriotism as its theme. Akshay has given his approval for Sajid Nadiadwala's next 'Land of Lungi'.

Nadiadwala has signed Akshay as the lead actor, but there aren't any reports about the other cast who would be a part of the film.

Although the title suggests so, there is still no conformation whether the film would be based in south India but nevertheless the subject would be undoubtedly related to Desh Bhakti and patriotism.

Recently, Akshay's Toilet- Ek Prem Katha also starring Bhumi Pednekar touched new grounds of success at the box office. The movie which had released on August 11 is still going strong at the box office.

Akshay is at the moment busy working in Padman which is mention worthy.

Padman is based on the real life of Arunachalam Muruganantham and the movie would depict his life story. Akshay would be playing the lead role along with Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte.

Playing Arunachalam Muruganantham would be special for Akshay. Muruganantham is the man behind the machine which manufactures low cost sanitary pads. Directed by R Balki, this movie surely has a social frame to it.

In another film titled 2.0, Akki would be seen with southern megastar Rajinikanth. It is a mega budget sci-fi film and would release in January, 2018. Directed by S Shankar and co-written by B Jeyamohan, this movie is a sequel to the Tamil film Enthiran. It would be one of the most expensive films with an estimated budget of Rs 450 crore.
