The good and the bad about Bajrangi Bhaijaan's teaser!
Salman Khan released Bajrangi Bhaijaan's teaser yesterday and since then it has been viewed more than 6 lakhs times. This Kabir Bedi film shows a huge promise and with the teaser it has indeed raised the bar. The teaser gives us a glimpse of a sensible story, but how cliched it would be that is another question for another day. For now the teaser has got everyone talking.

Produced by Salman Khan, let us point out what is right about the teaser and can transcend into a potentially good film:

1. The ominously haunting music, which immediately sets the tone of the film. The concentration campish like gate, closing behind a silhouette of a train and a girl running to catch it, beautifully portrays the border issues faced by both Pakistan and India.

2. The small sweet girl who gets left behind and doesn't grow up to be Kareena Kapoor (that would be so cliched) but is actually the third wheel of the story, the other two being Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

3. Mumbai looks like it is a character in the film, especially the on the road dance by Salman Khan, which is very common in Mumbai.

4. It addresses the religious angle with just one dialogue and it would be best if you see the teaser to hear it.

5. Nawazuddin Siddiqui because he is Nawazuddin Siddqui- the man who breathes life in a story.

Now as every coin has two sides, although it would be harsh to judge a film before its release, yet we have to be ready for the potential reasons why this big budget movie might not be loved by everyone:

1. It is a Kabir Khan film and big fight scenes have been included in the teaser. Men flying from windows onto wires only seem caricaturish to some.

2. It might end up being a Muslim boy meets Hindu Brahmin girl cliched love story.

3. Kareena Kapoor's expression. While she has a charm about her, which no one can deny, yet her expression for rage, anger, sadness have remained unchanged from her Refugee days.

4. Salman Khan in his classic dance poses, which again brings to mind the actor and not the character, which will pose as a hindrance to the film.

The film is all set for its Eid release and as of now, it is one of the most talked about film in the industry.
