The joy of giving and an act of generosity by children

It's the 'Joy of Giving' week, which is celebrated starting from Gandhi Jayanti, and to celebrate it, some students in Jaipur went to an NGO to share some of their happiness with the children of the NGO.

TABAR is an NGO that works to relocate those young boys who run away from their homes due to various reasons such as child labor, ill-treatment by parents, and HIV + patients, etc., and are found on the railway platforms, and factories, etc. TABAR works to find the actual homes of the children, registers them in the police station of that area, admits them in a government school of that area, and also counsels the parents.

The students from different fields had organized games, eatables, jam session for the children. The students as well as the children in TABAR experienced utter bliss in doing the same.

It was good to see these students who find themselves in the position of privilege - having stable families and potential for a good future - to chose to spend time with those children who face an uphill task to live a life to the best of their abilities. These students have done their bit…have you?

Perhaps, you can also take out time, and help such children with your support and encouragement - as this is the least they need to a build their life.
