The real definition of progress for India
India will progress when every Indian would be having food, clothing and housing, when the need for hunger would be replaced by the need for nutrition, the need for clothing would be replaced by the need for comfortable clothes and when need for housing will be replaced by artistic houses having sufficient light, regular electricity, toilet facilities, an internet, a Television, a Refrigerator, an automatic washing machine, an LPG gas connection, a bicycle, a two wheeler, a four wheeler and a garage for keeping these vehicles.
When there will be no broken roads, but there would be smooth and clean roads. When everybody would be having a cellphone. When there would be enough buses and fast running trains so that nobody would have to stand in a bus or travel on top of a train.
When flying by air will be within the reach of everybody. When there would be enough teachers and schools to ensure education upto senior secondary level for everybody. When there would be enough doctors, nurses and hospitals to look after everybody.
When there would be enough judges to dispose off all the pending court cases and there would be no undertrial in a prison. When there would be no murder or rape cases. When women will not have to sell their bodies for earning their bread.
When there would be enough parks and elderly people would be taken care of in old age homes. When there would be enough shops and malls and nobody would have to stand in a queue to buy things.
When cheques would not be bouncing back and every transaction will be done through cheques and there would be enough banks so that nobody needs to stand in a queque.
When politicians would be honest and sincere and any Indian irrespective of his/her caste, creed, region or religion will be able to adorn the top constitutional positions.
And finally when there would be no communal riots or agitations for division of the States and religion would be replaced by reason. Will that day ever come?
