The real story behind the shoes Salman is seen hanging around his neck in Tubelight
While talking about perfection in Bollywood, the only name that comes to one's mind is of none other than Aamir (Mr Perfectionist) Khan. This, however, doesn't leave rest of the film stars out of the race.

Today, every actor wants to achieve perfection of the highest level given the fact that the bar has been raised a couple of notches by Aamir.

Now with Eid round the corner, Salman Khan is all set to return with his much anticipated movie which hits the screens on June 25. This year on the auspicious occasion of Eid, Bhai comes back to surprise the fans with his flamboyance in Tubelight, which is set in the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-China war.

Although promotions of the movie are already on at full swing and hype around Tubelight is peaking, there is another aspect of the film which has caught little attention. All of you who have happened to see the trailer of Tubelight might have noticed Salman hanging a pair of shoes around his neck. But, do you know the story behind those shoes? Well, read on to know moreā€¦

Those shoes are no designer ones but a locally made product, which was demand of the scene. The maker of these shoes is a Mussorie-based man named Kishan.

According to Kishan, director Kabir Khan had visited his shop few years back while in Mussorie on a vacation and had bought a pair of sandals for himself.

However, Kishan's encounter with fame happened in July 2016 when he got a call from Kabir asking for 5-6 pairs of shoes from the 50s and 60s era. As per his client's wish, Kishan made and couriered some samples of shoes. After going through the samples and finalising the design, Salman and Kabir asked Kishan to ship 12 more pieces of the selected shoe of size 8 to Kullu, where the film was being shot in November 2016.

Although Kishan says he knew that his shoes would be used in the movie, his excitement knew no bounds when he saw that they had been worn by none other than Salman Khan himself.

Kishan, a master of his craft has many celebrity clients. In fact, he has also designed shoes for Sachin Tendulkar. The cricketing star once ordered a pair from his shop which originally cost 2500, however, the legend paid him Rs10000 instead. His other famous clients include actor Arshad Warsi, Tom Altar; politician Brinda Karat and hotelier Sanjay Narang.
