The resurrection of Patna
With efficient governance and a new lifestyle, Patna is now attracting investors to give the city a facelift. The inauguration of P&M mall in Patna also opens up new windows of hope for the people who seek a better lifestyle.
PATNA, THE capital of Bihar, where brilliant minds reside is a unique city in itself. Bihar is progressing and developing in every field so is the capital. India is a developing country and in this era of globalization the mall culture is very common.

But for Patnaities it's something very distinctive. The image of Patna for outsiders is nothing less than a village. No doubt that it's not so developed and neither is the infrastructure good but it's developing. So far, Patna had not experienced any mall culture ever but the trend was broken with the unveiling of the first-ever mall named 'P&M' for the public.

The people were seemingly very excited when the infrastructure was coming up, and now as it has improved, a never-ending number of citizens are visiting the mall everyday. Although many stores are yet to be opened, only Big Bazaar attracts a large number of crowds, but the eagerness has not faded away.

To enter the mall first, the visitor needs to stand in a queue in this scorching heat, which is nearly 1.5 kilometres long. There are shopping complexes in the city, which is still the most happening place for Patnaities but with the opening of the P&M mall, a new phase of Patna can be seen.

Being the centre of most academic activities in India, Patna still holds this culture and main emphasis is laid on academics. Patna is called the second Kota where preparation of medical and engineering is best undertaken. It's a city where there are students everywhere who are striving hard to fulfill their parents' dreams and desires, and those who have never visited Patna should visit it once because the atmosphere is remarkable. Here every student aspires to become a doctor, engineer or government employee - to serve the country and they strive hard to fulfill their wish and no doubt the atmosphere is such that who doesn't wish to study somehow they also take interest in studies.

'Pind Baluchi' a revolving restaurant in Patna is also a good place to visit. The restaurant revolves and the diners can witnessed the entire city while dinning. It's on the top floor of Biscomaun Bhawan, which is one of the tallest buildings in the city. In the junk food section, Dominos is present, and soon it will be followed by KFC and Pizza Hut.

Gone are the days when crime was at its peak and you had to return by 8 pm. Now girls are also seen roaming alone in the streets without any apprehension after 8 pm. Though it's a small city but the best homely environment one can get here. The city has seen a lot of changes in the last 3- 4 years and many more changes are surely expected to take place soon.
