The plot involves Michael trying to solve the mystery of the man (named David) living in his house as a flawless stepfather and a devout husband. But by the time he gets to know the truth about David being a killer, it is too late. At the end of the movie, David and Michael fall off the roof of his house. While Michael lands in coma, David eventually escapes. He ends up casually meeting another woman with children. Many who have an idea of this movie and have learnt the story are disappointed with the ending. After all, who would want a criminal like that to escape!
