THE TWILIGHT franchise is ending next year and the cast and crew members are enjoying the glory and cashing on it. Latest addition to their trophy rack would be that of a surfboard. The surfboard is actually the award for the prestigious event known as the Teen Choice Awards. Instead of taking home some model for a trophy the winners walked home with wax surfboards.

Another difference, which this award saw was that werewolf won over the handsome vampire in this award ceremony as Taylor Lautner took home the trophy for the choice movie actor in a sci/fi fantasy flick -- "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” However, Robert Pattinson didn’t lose it all as he was named as the choice movie actor and vampire. The franchise is very popular among teens and all the awards going their way made it quite clear. The films lesser known stars Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene also took away the choice scene stealers prize.

The show, which was held at Universal City's Gibson Amphitheater, on Sunday night, was hosted by Kaley Cuoco. The winners were based on the online voting and the people of America voted to make their favourites win the surfboards.

The audience also got a visual treat in the form of Selena Gomez who was performing with her band and boyfriend rock star, justin Beiber was encouraging from the crowd. It was a real hip and chic event with all the teens turning up in short dresses, dressy shoes and brands of various kinds.
