THE TROPICAL Storm Alex 2010 has approached Mexico and there is much more bad news for the Mexicans. Tropical Storm Alex 2010 has affected the oil spill effort of BP as well. Storm Alex is going to delay BP's efforts to stop the well from gushing oil.
Tropical Storm Alex is likely going to to become Hurricane Alex on Tuesday. The Natural Hurricane Center reports that the Tropical Storm Alex has been strengthening and in the next 48 hours it will become a hurricane. The BP oil spill has already done enough environmental damage in the sea and the hurricane Alex is going to make things worse. Some say this could be advantageous - it may disperse the oil and lessen the damage. It is funny to think that a hurricane could be beneficial, however.
Since April 20th, 2010, the oil spill has caused a lot of damage to fisheries, fisherman, tourism, and a lot of wildlife have been injured or killed.According to the Vancouver Sun, Shell Oil Co., Exxon Mobil Corp., and Apache Corp. have removed nonessential workers from platforms near where Hurricane Alex is supposed to move.
