Arnold Pistorius, uncle of Paralympic champion star Oscar Pistorius has said that the athlete will bounce back better than ever. The amputee athlete is currently on the fourth day of his bail hearing, which is also expected to be the final day as well. The bail verdict is expected to be out by Friday evening. Will he be granted bail or is sent to prison is a million dollar question.
Oscar has been charged for the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. Oscar's uncle, Arnold Pistorius remains positive and said in this AFP video, “Oscar with his character will be able to work through this and the world will see a different Oscar. Nobody can be the same if such a tragic thing happens. But he will bounce back greater than ever.”
He accused the media as well for leaking evidence and still believes in Oscar's innocence. He also feels that at the end of the day, he will see light after darkness, reported zeenews.com. Oscar seems to have been under great shock and has not been able to take the shooting of his girlfriend, which according to Oscar took place accidentally. Oscar said he fired at Reeva Steenkamp thinking her to be some intruder in his house.
In the video, Arnold also said that Oscar was in great shock and only started eating of late. He added, “Pistorius was in extreme shock and was grieving in this emotionally tough time.” He further talked about respecting his family and also giving them privacy in such a tragic hour.
