AR - Since childhood I am into theatrical activities. And honestly, acting is my passion, my survival without it is lame. During my school days, I had participated in plays and used to mimic many Bollywood actors. I love challenges and playing different roles in theater.
Q – What is your experience on being a part of a musical show
AR - I learnt a lot here and still experiencing each and everything. Theater believes in equality and it is the only place where no one doesn't differentiate between your real or reel self. KOD made me aware about ethics and values of theater and I feel this is the best platform to start you acting career.
Q - Is it any different from theater, to play a part in a musical. If yes, how is it different?
AR - It is different from theater. Usually in plays, we don't dance or roam all around the stage, all we need is to be more concerned about the character we are going to play. But, in a musical show we have to be physically active and need to perform and dance. Dance is a lifeline of any musical show and we make fictitious things real for people by giving dance performances.
Q - How helpful are the cast and crew of Jumroo?
AR - Jhumroo's cast and crew are very supporting. They have actually battered me and moulded me in a firm shape. They have sharpened my acting skills and made me to give 110 percent of mine to theater.
Q - What was your part in the stage production?
AR - You will know it better when you turn up in Kingdom of Dreams and watch our famous show Jhumroo.
Q - What was your experience while working with Gaurav Gera.
AR - I am in the learning process and is yet to get a chance to work with such great personality, but soon I'll be working with him in upcoming shows of Jhumroo. However, as I told you before the crew and cast of Jhumroo are very supportive and same is Gaurav bhai.
Q- Can you share a funny experience while you were on stage working with Jhumroo people?
AR - We used to play pranks on each other. So, there are many of funny experiences and when you are a part of such a great musical show, people reveal their real side and love to demonstrate their 'Pagalpan' (madness). In that madness, those funny moments reside.
Q - What next for you in your career path?
AR - I am focusing on Jhumroo only. I don't want to chop off my strings from KOD. I am looking forward to be associated with it for a long time. And if anyhow, this won't work, then I'll move to Mumbai. Mumbai is the only place, which will give wings to my dreams and lead them to fly higher. I would love to perform in Sitcoms and movies.
