There is gender equity in the realm of Shaktism-based spiritualism as God is considered gender-free
Over the years, with the dominance of men and patriarchal social structures along with materialism that objectifies women, the feminine values and virtues have got diluted and efforts for gender equity have moved wrongfully towards role reversal.

There is need to revive feminine virtues and give as much respects the masculine virtues for gender equity and emphasise spiritual thinking which regards the same soul all. Soul is gender-free and all-inclusive - that is the basic existential assumption for a seeker.

Many spiritualists seek to discover essence of life  through Shakti or feminine divine. It is believed that Shakti is the real principle of existential energy through which divinity functions.

In Hinduism, Shakti is one of the three major Hindu denominations  of worship along with Vishnu and Shiva. The main spiritual aspect of Hinduism is to reclaim God and

Goddess within or harmonize the masculine and feminine divinities, writes this blogger in a post at scratchmysoul.

It is widely believed by the devotees of Shakti Maa that two divinities, one as male energy and other as female energy, working as a pair, are to be realized within but with the notion that Shakti is the real principle of energy through which divinity functions.

Here is an ABC poem on Shaktism.

A: All creation and the energy in the cosmos animates due to Feminine Divine as the Ultimate Being

B: Believes in purification of body, mind and spirit

C: Creator of cosmos, who is the force behind all actions, material existence and life

D: Doctrine of inner potential for creation
