Three-day long state level meet of SP ends in Gorakhpur
While talking to the mammoth gathering which converged at Gorakhpur to attend the three day long meet of party leaders, party's state president Akhilesh Yadav asked all party leaders to sink their differences in the larger interest of party.
THE THREE-day long state convention of Samajwadi Party (SP) ended in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh with SP chief and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mulayam Singh Yadav, giving a clarion call to his party activists and leaders to unite in fighting the autocratic rule of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati for which he has also said the party would begin a state wide stir in the first week of March.

“The dates are final and the Samajwadi Party would hamper all the government work during the month of March from 1st to 3rd in the entire state. The party has asked the people of the state to join hands with the party workers in order to make this state wide agitation a big success,” said M S Yadav.

While talking to the mammoth gathering which converged at Gorakhpur to attend the three day long meet of party leaders, party’s state president Akhilesh Yadav asked all party leaders to sink their differences in the larger interest of party. He asked the cadre to work at the grass-root level in order to strengthen party’s political base.

“People want change in the government. The present Bahujan Samaj Party government is wasting public money in building monuments and parks instead of generating employment for youth. The state government has also been accused of shielding criminals and mafia. Corruption is rampant in every department and Samajwadi Party is all set to show doors to Mayawati government in the coming elections,” said Akhilesh.

Senior party leader Azam Khan was also present on the occasion. He also opined that there was no way why SP can’t return to power in Uttar Pradesh. The present government is fully exposed and the people of the state know the days of this government are numbered.
