Three-day Sikh festival Hola Mohalla held at Anandpur Sahib
On the occasion of Sikh festival of Hola Mohalla from March 7 to 9, devotees thronged Gurdwaras at Anandpur Sahib, Kiratpur Sahib and Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib to pay their obeisance to the tenth and the last Guru of Sikh religion.

THE MAIN celebration of Hola Mohalla has been held Anandpur Sahib with lakhs of devotees arriving from all parts of the country and abroad to participate. Large number community kitchens were put up to feed the devotees. 

At Anandpur Sahib, the Punjab Public Relations department organized an exhibition depicting various development activities. 

The three-day festival of Hola Mohalla begins on the first day of the lunar month of Chet as part of a tradition established by Guru Gobind Singh in the form of an organized procession in the form of an army column and demonstration of martial skills in simulated and mock fights like Gatka. 

The festival is marked by holding kirtans and religious discourses on Sikhism. On the last day of the three-day festival a huge procession, led by Panj Pyaras, starts from Takhat Keshgarh Sahib is organised. Nihang Singhs exhibit their skills in the use of arms, horsemanship, tent-pegging, and other martial arts.
