Gurgaon Police arrested three crooks on the run after stealing a car and other valuable items. Mangeram, a resident of New Palam Vihar had registered a complaint on 22nd December 2013 with the Police personnel regarding his car theft and other valuable items at gunpoint on the night of 21st December, 2013 .
''When I was unlocking my car, unexpectedly a young guy held me from behind, placing his gun on my head and ordered me to sit in the car. Meanwhile, two others came along with him and drove the car to the Dwarka Expressway. All of them were masked and robbed my valuable items namely gold chain, rings, two bracelets and Rs. 25000 in cash along with my car ( model- swift). They left me stranded on the Dwarka Expressway,'' stated Mangeram.
The three accused were arrested by the Crime Unit - 4 of Gurgaon Police. They have been identified as Vikas, 23 who hails from Jhajjar District who drove tractors, Praveen, 21, Vikas' friend and Manish, 19, the youngest of the lot and an unemployed who already had a case registered against him and was released on bail.
The above mentioned accused were living together in a rented apartment in the locality of New Palam Vihar. On further interrogation, all of them confessed to the car theft, also including Rs. 25000 in cash, a gold chain, two bracelets, and rings. They were not even verified by their landlord and thus, a case has been registered against him as well.
