Tiger Woods car accident: latest news and updates
Tiger Woods was injured in a car accident early on Black Friday near his Florida home. According to the latest news, he has been released from the hospital later in the day. the car crash took place at around 2:55 am ET. Woods was alone in the car.

Tiger Woods was injured in a car accident early on Black Friday near his Florida home. According to the latest news, he has been released from the hospital later in the day.
 
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the car crash took place at around 2:55 am ET. Star golfer, Woods was driving his 2009 Cadillac sport utility vehicle and was alone in the car, when the accident occurred.
 
The highway patrol said that the injury was serious but Woods spokesman, Gleenn Greenspan said that Friday afternoon the golfer was treated at the hospital and was released. His condition is stable and the spokesman termed the accident as minor.
 
The police report said that the driver had just pulled out of the driveway at his residence as the vehicle began to drive on Deacon Circle, it struck fire hydrant. The front of the car later struck a tree.
 
The highway patrol said that Wood’s car accident is still under investigation and charges are pending. However, they said that the crash had nothing to do with alcohol.
 
Woods is scheduled to play on December 3 in the Chevron World Challenge in Thousands Oaks, Calif. Last he had played a couple of weeks ago in Australia where he won the Australian masters.
