Time for corrupt politicians to unite
There are not many national-level figures who come forward to wage war against rampant corruption in the country. But when they do, like Baba Ramdev, even tainted politicians, cutting across party lines, should support such figures.
RJD SUPREMO Lalu Yadav has now joined his former colleagues of Congress in launching a verbal attack on Baba Ramdev for the Yogrishi’s crusade against corruption.

It is high time that that all tainted and corrupt politicians cutting across party-lines may unite together to save their livelihood through minting money by corrupt politics, to fight unitedly under leadership of country’s most celebrated corrupt politician against all moves of civil society to root out corruption from this country.

It is wrong to suggest that Baba Ramdev is doing so at the behest of the BJP, which will be worst hit by vote-split in case Baba Ramdev launches his own political party.

Since even BJP is in the dock in states like Karnataka, corrupt ones from BJP can also join united forum of tainted politicians against Yogrishi’s crusade against corruption.

After all Baba Ramdev is also a normal citizen apart from his being world-wide renowned Yoga-educator. He also has every right to think and fight against corruption like any other countrymen.

Tainted politicians like Lalu Yadav have no right to advise Yogrishi to restrict himself to Yoga-teachings only. After submitting memorandum against corruption to President of India on 27th February 2011, Baba Ramdev told media-persons about his fear about an attack on his life.

With the fleet of corrupt top-ranking politicians in the country armed with wealth and muscle-men, Baba Ramdev definitely deserves high-level security.

The Union Home Ministry, which at times provides security to many politicians just for status-symbol, should arrange adequate security for Baba Ramdev and some other prominent ones engaged in the fight against corruption.
