Tips for dusk photography
Photography at dusk can be very rewarding. Many photographers consider the dusk time full of magical moments for images that show amazing scenes, colours and shades. Read on to know how to make it better.

AT DUSK the light level goes down fast and you may have only 10-20 minutes' time to have right kinds of combinations of dusk colour shades. When the dusk time is over, sky starts appearing black. The dusk time starts half an hour after the sunset. It is the latter half of the evening golden hour.

Since the light is low during the dusk time, a tripod or a firm rest to have rock steady camera is a must. The subjects for the dusk photographs should also be still.

Automatic exposure can work fine, but it is always worthwhile to try with +1/2 and +1 stops of exposure. For still better shots, set higher ISO speeds and try the shutter speeds of 1/15, 1/8, 1/4 or the lowest available in a basic camera.

Find subjects in nature, cityscape or landscape to shoot with a camera that is steady. You may use a timer release by giving the camera a firm rest since a little camera shake will make the picture hazy.
