Tips for photographing flowers
There are all kinds of flowers in public parks, gardens, parties and in the wild to shoot. So, one can also experiment a lot in flower photography.

With handy tips and practice, one can take reasonably good pictures of flowers even with a basic camera. First, look at the shape, colour and form of the flower to decide the angle for the photograph. If you have a digital camera, you can always experiment with the angles and viewpoints.

Stamens are a great focal point with a shallow depth of field for flower photography. Adjust and use a selection for the f-stop to see which one looks best.

Avoid taking the pictures of flowers in direct and harsh sunlight. Also, avoid use of flash, as petals are very reflective and easily overexpose the picture. Also, avoid taking the picture of flowers on a windy day.

Shaded places, cloudy days and golden hours are the best for flower photography. If, you are to take the pictures of flowers on a sunny day use a white umbrella on the flower to have a diffused light.

A macro setting of the camera with a tripod stand is good for flower photography but it's not essential. However, a firm rest for the camera should be used.
