Reportedly, Texas Tech has signed up Tommy Tuberville as its next coach. Last month, Texas Tech had fired their coach Mike Leach after he had allegedly misbehaved with an injured player.
IN A latest report it has emerged that Texas Tech has signed up 55 year old Tommy Tuberville as its next coach. Although, there has not been any official announcement whatsoever, the report has been confirmed by reliable sources.
The news has come after Texas Tech had fired their coach Mike Leach last month allegedly on grounds of his illtreatment of a player who had received an injury.
Earlier in December 2008, Tommy Tuberville had resigned at Auburn where he was 85-40. His resignation had concluded his 10 year stint after a perfect season with a string of teams locking horns for the Southeastern Conference title. Tommy Tuberville had a fruitful time at Auburn, especially the landmark 13-0 season in 2004, when he bagged the AP Coach of the Year title as his team, the Tigers, clutched the second spot by winning the SEC title for the first time in fifteen years. Reportedly, a press conference has been slated for Sunday at 2 pm, where the official confirmation of the news may take place.
