AS PART of its ongoing countrywide drive to ‘educate and inform’ students about various study abroad options available to them, India’s leading overseas educational consultants, Spirit of International Education and Careers (SIEC), is organising a 'Study Abroad Fair' at the local Radisson Hotel on Thursday (July 16).
This elite education fair, where representatives from the global educational institutions are participating, is expected to draw close to 300 students from Jalandhar and its neighbouring areas.
Some of the foreign institutions which have confirmed their participation are UniSA, EAA, Holmes, Holmsglen, Boxhill, Monash, UWA, RMIT, Swinburne, Latrobe, KIC, Chisholm, CUT, ECU, UTS, UWS, Griffith, UWS.
According to Sonya Singh, the managing director of SIEC, ‘‘The aim of this fair is to provide a common platform for students, parents and institutions to get a first hand and correct information about education options globally.”
On this occasion, study abroad experts from SIEC would guide students about various course options available to them in countries like New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Canada, the United Kingdom and United States. It is noteworthy that the company assists about 2000 students year in seeking admission into foreign universities.
This study abroad consultancy and education services company commenced this education exercise from Dehra Doon on July 13 and after covering 11 major Indian cities will conclude at Pune on July 25.
