GOSSIPS, FUN, freak-outs, eyes filled with tears of laughter, meticulously singing in one tone, hanging out with all the time in the world and eating out everyday … wondering what’s all this? Hmmm…Don’t tax your minds much as all this is synonymous with ‘college life’. Full of boundless fun and happiness, this world has many strings attached to it.

So, now welcome to the world of full2masti.com. To have the full view and feel of this Never2Die world, we will take you on a short trip to some of the most special ‘heaven’ like places. Fasten your seat belts as we take you on a journey in the heart of Delhi University and its awesome hangouts!

First, let us go to the north campus. This has maximum hangout zones. The best of all is the Kamla Nagar market or simply the K’Nags. It is the king of all the hangouts and eating joints. If you are in the loop, you cannot at any cost miss the crows and the liveliness of the K’Nags where the real action takes places. Students after religiously bunking their classes mark their presence at K’Nags.

The food joints here range from the thelewals’s (hand cart) offering spicy chhole-bhature at chacha’s to the up market Baristas, CCD and Bercos. “The cool and lively atmosphere of K’Nags makes it the most happening of all the hangouts. It provides one with the best of things, so we don’t need anything else,” says Avneet Kaur of Khalsa College. The sumptuous momos offered at the Momos Point with spicy red chilli chatni or the American choupsey at Bon Zai taste yummy but are essentially pocket friendly. K’Nags is also host to everything you desire on the face of the earth, shopping for latest clothes, accessories, or gifts-K’Nags won’t let you down!

Another feather in the cap of north campus is the lover’s point at Hansraj college. Called as the LP by the guys and gals of the campus, this place in front of the college canteen is flooded with couples roaming around holding hands, making a beeline for safe and cosy corners, so that they can sit with their partners and enjoy the romantic moments without being disturbed.

“This kind of place should be there in every college and we are proud of having a privilege of this kind,” said Chandni Khanna, a pass out from the college. We know college couples will totally agree to this.

For foodies who want ‘cheap and best’ food turn to K’Nags or Tom uncle’s ‘Maggi Point’ outside Khalsa college. It is popular, especially among the non K’Nags brigade. It is famous for its special maggi, spicy bhel puri, sev puri and the chilled thanda banta to soothe the high temperatures. The cheap rates also add to its attraction. “I love to serve the students and to chat with them, sharing their experiences and the fun talks,” says Tom uncle.

Another stress and heat-buster is the lemony, juicy and icy bantas offered at every nook and corner of north campus. The most popular among them is Lachchu bhai’s bantas outside the Ramjas College and others outside Hindu. These are the campus-encyclopedia, who comes to the aid of all the confused applicants and wayward students.

Keventers in K’Nags is also among the most sought after place offering different types of flavoured milk shakes to cool the scorching heat. Besides this, Khopcha (food corner) of Irfan bhai at SRCC offers good food for ever hungry students.

So, now let us move to south campus. Though it does not have countless hangouts but it still has some most outstanding ones.

The most happening of all is ’The Priya’s’. It satisfies the expectations of everyone offering the best of the best with the exquisite surroundings for the riches and tables under the shady trees offering the best of momos etc. The eating joints here vary from the McD’s, Nirulas, Yo China to the fascinating ones like Punjabi by Nature and the roadside-eating joints.

The discos including RPM, Hash, Bar Codes etc. here are also favourites of the energetic party-animals. The crowd consists of the hot and happening, making it the most scintillating of the places especially for boys!

The next in the move is the Satya Niketan’s enthralling market, which caters to all needs of the students from every walk of life. “Our canteen is not up to the mark, that is why, we mostly prefer to come here, commonly called ’chowrangi lane’ for lip- smacking food,” says Rishab Pruthi of Sri Venkateshwara college (Venky). Here, the food outlets offer the best of rolls including kebab, egg, chicken and mutton.

The south campus university canteen, situated between Ram Lal Anand (RLA) college and Venky, offers some cheap and delicious foods. “The lassi is very tasty,” says Kanika of RLA college.

Finally, ending this never-ending trip, we call all those about to begin their ‘college life’, not to miss out on any of these places and though a few hours of studies never hurt anyone, college life will definitely be incomplete without bunking college for time-pass at these awesome hangout spots!
