Toyota enhanced its dealer network to 150 outlets to cater to a whole new segment of customers with the launch of the Etios. Toyota's dealership thrust was largely in smaller towns.

TOYOTA KIRLOSKAR Motor Pvt. Ltd. (TKM) today inaugurated its first dealership in Tirunelveli, Anaamalais Toyota. The new outlet offers service, sales, financing and insurance facilities. It is aimed at being accessible to the customer in Tirunelveli and will offer them an enhanced purchase experience.

Spread over a total area of 1,22,068 sq.ft, Anaamalais Toyota, has 12 general service bays,12 body and paint bays and 1 combi-paint booth in addtion to a showroom and adequate parking space.

Anaamalais Toyota, is a part of the network of exclusive Toyota '3S' dealership spread across India. ‘3S’ signifies Sales, Service and Spare parts under one roof. This is Toyota's unique approach to customer care and service. Anaamalais Toyota will initially have around 114 trained personnel. The sales, service and spare parts officers in the dealership have been trained extensively by Toyota. Anaamalais Toyota is similar to the other Toyota dealerships in India, meeting Toyota’s international standards of quality and service. It is fully equipped with state-of-the-art tools and equipment and necessary spare parts.

Commenting on the expansion of Toyota’s dealer network, Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director, TKM said, “This is our Tenth dealership in Tamil Nadu. So far we catered to the customers in South Tamil Nadu with our dealership at Madurai as an important market. With the increasing demand and the sale of Etios, setting up a dealership in Tirunelveli is essential. With this we aim to serve our customers better through greater accessibility.”

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has registered a 38% growth in sales in 2010 compared to 2009. It sold 74759 units in 2010 against 54320 units in 2009.
