Toyota Recall January 2010 - list of cars, updates
Toyota Motors Sales USA is recalling its vehicles to rectify, correct a problem that has caused the vehicles' gas pedals to stick. Toyota Recall January 2010 list of cars under the recall is mentioned here.
The company is recalling 2.3 million vehicles as it has received a lot of complaints about an unexpected random acceleration. The vehicles include some of Toyota’s prestigious brands / models. Irv Miller, Toyota USA group vice president said that their investigation indicated that there was a possibility that certain accelerator pedal mechanism might in rare instances, mechanically stuck in a partially depressed position or returned slowly to the idle position. The Toyota recall was announced following one of the channel’s information to the company regarding one if its investigative reports on the sudden over acceleration and pedal sticking of Toyota cars. When anyone experiences the problems, the vehicle should be driven to the nearest safe location, shut off and a Toyota dealer be contacted for assistance.
