The cars involve include the luxury Lexus sedans. Since last September, Toyota has recalled more than 8 million vehicles worldwide, due to acceleration and brake problems.
According to the Nikkei business daily, Toyota is considering recalling tens of thousands of the Lexus LS460 worldwide. The model's engine reportedly stalls while the vehicle is running and in the worst-case scenario, might not restart. About 90,000 affected cars were sold in Japan while the rest 180,000 sold overseas.
Today July 1, the fourth set of recall of 2010 was made due to engine problems specifically in the valve spring of 4.6 liter V8 engines and 3.5 liter V6 engines affecting some 270,000 Lexus and Crown car models.
Seven models of Toyota motors were involved in this recall, affected by this engine problem includes Lexus GS 350, Lexus GS 450h, Lexus GS 460, Lexus IS 350, Lexus LS 460, Lexus LS 600h and Toyota Crown, which is sold in Japan and Asia.
According to the world largest automobile maker, Toyota motors, it has not received any reports of accidents that can be attributed to the problem.

.Toyota has been the best ever car I have liked followed by Mitsubishi but, of late Toyota the models we are getting in market may be having a single or multiple problems. For instance my current Toyota Fortuner VVTi of 4 cylinder cant go beyond 160 although the speedometer reads 200. The Premio utilized by my wife is superb. Please do something to overcome these shortcomings.
