Treat Modi as political opponent, not as enemy - II
Some political leaders like Jagdambika Pal of Congress, Sabir Ali and N K Singh of JD (U) to name a few, not only learned the lesson but accepted Narendra Modi as their leader. Karunanidhi to Jaggan Reddy have praised Narendra Modi. Sharad Pawar and Farooq Abdulla have kept their options open by praising Modi on and off.

But, there are few who still need to learn the lesson. And, that is the reason of penning part-II of the article titled 'Treat Modi as political opponent, not as enemy - I', whose first part had appeared on this platform on 24 July 2013. One of the basis of the earlier article was the poetic justice. It continues in this also.

USA learned his lesson the hard way. The USA, which thinks of itself as a indispensable nation positioned successfully itself as unwanted nation in India by goofing up on it's dealing with Devyani Khobragade, an Indian Foreign Service officer. All it's posturing on providing 'Visa' (which was never asked for, in the first place) to Narendra Modi has resulted in almost Vietnamese consequence.

Under, Nitish Kumar's governance in Bihar, there were several bomb blasts during Narendra Modi's rally in Patna. Narendra Modi answered the bomb blast with the following statement: "Let Hindus and Muslims together and work towards ending poverty. Our religion is India first. We have to maintain peace and harmony at any cost." Today Nitish Kumar is not sure how many MP and MLA are left in his party.

Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, whose party survives by abusing Narendra Modi, listed his Muslim-friendly credentials at a large rally gathering in Azamgarh. He claimed that he wore clothes stitched only by Muslim tailors and his hair was cut only by Muslim barbers. Azam Khan, said about Mulayam SIngh in the same rally that he once told him that "I am (Mulayam Singh) a Muslim only". After Muzaffarnagar riots Mulayam was not allowed inside Aligarh Muslim University and today he doesn't know what he is?

But there are Congress leaders and its leadership, which hasn't learnt the lesson yet, even after getting thrashed in assembly elections across India. Congress Lok Sabha candidate from Saharanpur, Imran Masood says "If Modi tries to make Uttar Pradesh into Gujarat, then we will chop him into tiny pieces...I am not scared of getting killed or attacking someone. I will fight against Modi. He thinks UP is Gujarat. Only 4% Muslims are there in Gujarat while there are 42% Muslims in UP,". Imran Masood has been arrested under the directive of Election Commission, but Rahul Gandhi campaigns for him!!!!

No one can deny that Congress treats Narendra Modi as an enemy rather than political opponent.

Now the question is what could be poetic justice for Congress. Well according to me, we might see Mahatma Gandhi's dream come true.

Six Weeks after the assassin of Gandhi, 47 Gandhi followers came together on 13 March 1948, in Sevagram to ask themselves; Who Will Guide Them Now?

Gopal Krishna Gandhi edited and published the record of the above meeting in the form a book titled “Gandhi is Gone: Who Will Guide Us Now?” Following are few excerpts from the book/meeting:

13 March 1948,

Meeting starts at 8:00 AM

Nehru arrives at 8:50 AM

Jawaharlal Nehru: ..…Bapu had planned a Lok Seva Sangh; that was fine in itself, but what Bapu prescribed was not a political institution. The implication was that Congress should be dissolved …

(In the introduction of the book Gopal Krishna Gandhi writes: “Bereft & brave, Pyarelal reminds the conference of his master’s ‘Last Will and Testament’ in which he had proposed disbanding the Congress..)

Rahul Gandhi thinks Congress is an idea hence it can't be wiped pot. While in reality, idea gets replaced by ideas only. Narendra Modi is an idea. When Digvijay Singh says both RSS and BJP are run by Modi; he means that BJP and RSS are run by Good Governance and Development. Good Governance and Development are synonym of Narendra Modi.

Modi is not an individual anymore, Modi has become an “idea”. One can neither stop an idea whose time has come nor can size it up; but only accept it or get vanquished.

I am saying it for the second time, because everyone can't understand everything at the first instance. It is a factor of IQ, which naturally varies from individual to individual.
