Trinamool competes with CPIM in violence

NOW IT has been proved that Trinamool Congress is no less capable than the Communist Party of India - Marxist (CPI-M) in perpetrating violence. There seems to be a shift in power after 2011 Assembly elections. Trinamool, instead of acting responsibly after the Lok Sabha mandate, has become more aggressive.

The reminiscent of the coin transfer analogy is not only evident in Khejuri but also in various parts of Kolkata. The recent violence in Behala is a latest example.

If parties, bereft of their political lineage, cultivate the culture of ‘takeover’ and ‘capture’ with barbarity, the greatest sufferer would be none other that the state.

Trinamool's success lies in the fact that it successfully stirred the red bastions to end oppression and bring peace. But it should be careful that its expression of euphoria is not violence.

The dire consequence of eye for an eye is known to us. If Trinamool has to assume power in the state then it needs to shun matching reprisal because with great power comes great responsibility.

Yes, it is true. Instead of showing proper awareness, Trinamool Congress, is now started giving cover to the so called "Anti-Socials" in WB. Recent Rajarhat event in WB again proves that. Where, own brother of local TMC MLA is deeply involved. Whether someone agrees or not, the fact is TMC governing body, has lesser control over the lower level/grass root staffs. I indeed agree, Ms. Mamata Banerjee, Dr. Sougata Roy, Mr. Mukul Roy, Mr. Partha Chatterjee, are definitely very much honest leaders. Specially honorable rail minister, Ms. Mamata Banerjee, has a true vision of "CHANGING BENGAL", but also fact is that, TMC as of now, couldn't able to come up with strong LAYER-BY-LAYER party structure. State committee, has fewer control over District committee (see the Candidate selection scandal in Siliguri), District committee has even lesser control over Zonal Committee, so on and so forth. If someone deeply analyze, problem remains behind the shell. TMC, is although a democratic party (defined by them), but the power is single handed. The Supremo, Ms. Banerjee is all-in-all, which needs to be changed immediately. Distribution of power among the top brass, involving ex IAS-IPS officers in the disciplinary committee, and micro-level man-management needs to be implemented ASAP.

This is not true. I am not at all a supporter of CPI(M). At Khejuri, the violence was from CPIM dissidents. Trinamool people tried to save the attacked ones (including wife of CPM leader and mafia Himansu Das). I was there around that time. Sunday India (Bengali) carried a detailed story by a team that was there.
