Tunisia terror attack a senseless act: India's President
The death toll in Tunisia terror attack has risen to 23 as has emerged from the foreign media reports. The terror attack was carried out on tourists arriving at the Bardo Museum close to the Parliament of the country.
The Bardo museum is famous for its collection of Roman mosaics and draws tourists from all over world during this time of the year.

It is said that the victims of the terror attack on the bus included the British, Japanese, Italians, Colombians, Spaniards, Australians, Poles and French nationals during country's peak tourist season.

Though no one has claimed responsibility for the terror attack but Islamic State jihadists have expressed jubilation over the killings. Another worry of the country is that thousands of Tunisians have gone to fight with Islamic State jihadists.

The President of India, Pranab Mukherjee has strongly condemned the killings of innocent people in this terrorist attack in the Bardo Museum in Tunisia by calling it a senseless act.

In a press release from President's office, Mukherjee has urged that such acts must be met with determination and collective action by the world community while conveying his condolences to the grieving families of the victims and prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured.
