TVS MOTOR Company unveiled two brand new products- an auto clutch motorcycle and an automatic scooter into its 110cc segment on Wednesday (November 25) in Chennai. TVS Motor chairman Venu Srinivasan said that TVS Jive, the 110cc motorcycle, will be available at Rs 41,000 across the country. TVS WEGO, the 110cc scooter, is priced at Rs 42,500. T-Matic technology is used while designing TVS Jive. This featured a rotary gear technology along with an automatic clutch.

TVS Jive production had already commenced at the company’s Hosur Plant. It will be launched in the market next month. The gearbox for Jive will come from Indonesia. The bike’s four speed engine delivers a solid four stroke performance with 8.1 Bhp at 7500 rpm and a torque of 8.1 Nm at 5500 rpm. TVS Jive’s light weight of 110kgs makes it convenient to handle. Alloy wheels complement the bikes wheelbase of 1260 mm which makes cornering and maneuvering effortless. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres with two litres as reserve. TVS Jive will be available in colours of blue, black and red.

TVS WEGO will be launched in January after the Auto Expo. TVS WEGO is of 110cc engine that delivers a peak power of 8bhp at 7500rpm. The all aluminum low-friction engine ensures best in class mileage and will available in cappuccino brown, golden beige, silver, black and dark blue.

TVS Motor becomes the only company with the widest range of scooters in the market starting from the entry-level Scooty Teenz, Scooty Teenz Electric to the iconic Scooty Pep+, the snazzy Scooty Streak and now the TVS Wego.
