Bollywood director turned producer Anurag Kashyap, who has always been very active in the social networking site Twitter, deleted his account. The move came after his film Lunchbox was unceremoniously dumped from being India's official entry for the Oscars.
As was reported by nnis, the director had once voiced Twitter to be a medium to air his views on the public forum but due to the latest developments with Lunchbox, it has left the man angry and frustrated. He however created a number of news on Twitter before leaving the microblogging site.
Not only did he tweet about his disappointment over Lunchbox's non selection but also kind of threatened the Gujarati film, 'The Good Road' to make it to the 'five final selections or else.' Before the whole Oscar debacle broke out, he however did another faux pas as he declared that Dilip Kumar is dead. Realizing his mistake, a little too late, he profusely apologized to the legendary actor for the blunder.
All these incidents one after the other might have influenced the director to deactivate his account. This is not the first time that Kashyap took to Twitter to vent out his anger. In the past, when his brother was ousted by Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan, then also he took to Twitter to defend his family. This time, however, he thought of keeping mum. As it is said, 'it is better to keep quiet and let people believe that you are an idiot, then to speak and remove all their doubts.'
