This year's Indian Psychological Science Congress (IPSC) of National Association of Psychological Science (NAPS) will be organized in Chandigarh on February 24 and 25. According to the organizers, psychology is constantly evolving area of knowledge and latest developments and researches need to be shared along with stressing its application in various global phenomena of humanity.
The main objective of the conference, being hosted by Department Of Psychology, P.G. Government College (Sector-46) in Chandigarh, is to blend the boundaries across the globe for cross-disciplinary researches in psychology and allied disciplines and dissemination its outcome to enhance the well-being of individuals, groups, organizations and communities.
Justifying the need of annual event of PSC, the organizers hold that the condition of India
is very different in relation to its diverse socio-cultural heritage and the root of the psychological well being can be traced from collapse of joint family system, change in value system, growing individualism, urbanization, increase in longevity, unrealistic aspirations of the so called young minds, etc.
Keeping the foregoing in view, PSC offers an opportunity to bring together academician, professionals, and researchers of different disciplines, discuss new issues, and discover the most recent development and trends pertaining to the contemporary debate going on in Socio-cultural, medical and para-medical arena of humanity.
