Two teenage sisters burnt alive in UP's Bareilly
Two teenage sisters were burnt by unidentified people in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly on Friday.

The perpetrators of the attack are yet to be identified and the motive behind the attack is still unknown but one of the two victims of the attack has claimed that the person behind the attack could have been a stalker.

The attackers put petrol on them when they were asleep and later set them on fire. The incident took place in Devraniya Jagir village of Bareilly. The two girls are of 19 and 17 years of age. 

The family was awakened by cries of the girls but by the time they reached the place where the girls were sleeping, the two were already engulfed in flames. The two were soon rushed to the hospital. 

As per reports, the sisters have been admitted in the ICU of the district hospital where their condition is reported to be critical. One of the sisters has suffered 95 per cent burns while the other has suffered 60 per cent burns. 

The police have filed an FIR against unidentified persons and teams of policemen have begun conducting search operations to nab the accused. The police have claimed to have recovered a bottle of petrol and two mobile phones from the spot.

The incident comes at a time when the whole country is enraged by the Chandigarh stalking incident involving the son of a top BJP leader from Haryana.
