Two youths arrested in connection with Abhijit's Murder

The investigation into the brutal murder of Abhijit Sutradhar continues even after two youths have been arrested by the police. An expert team, formed by police superintendent Sunil Kumar, who recently assumed charge, has been working tirelessly to nab the whole gang.

IN CONNECTION with the kidnapping and murder of Abhijit Sutradhar (25), Nagaon Police arrested two youths involved with the crime. Sutradhar who was reported missing on November 2, 2011 and whose dead body was recovered at NH-37 near Borghat on 5th of November was a resident of English-patty area of Nagaon town.

Earlier Police arrested one Rajib Das, the prime accused of the brutal killing of Sutradhar. Yesterday the police succeeded to nab two other accused Uttam Ghosh and Biplob Kalita who accompanied Rajib Das in the criminal offence. Despite two arrests, the investigation is going on to find out more details of the brutal act.

It is pertinent to mention that after new superintendent of Police Sunil Kumar assumed the charge, a special team has been formed to nab the culprits involved with previous criminal acts like kidnapping, murder and money extortions in the district. The police action has been appreciated by the citizens of Nagaon.
