UEFA Champions League draw
In Monaco, the draw for the group stages of the UEFA Champions League was out on Thursday. Barcelona is the first of the top eight seeded teams and has been placed in Group F along with Inter Milan, Dinamo Kiev and Russian champions Rubin Kazan.

THE DRAW for the group stages of the UEFA Champions League was out on Thursday (August 27), evening in Monaco. A couple of clashes between the giants of Spain and Italy has made the headlines.

The Title holder Barcelona is the first of the top eight seeded teams and has been placed in Group F along with Inter Milan, Dinamo Kiev and Russian champions Rubin Kazan. Lets take a look at the final result of the draw.

Group A will feature Bayern Munich, Juventus and Bordeaux. Maccabi Haifa is pitted as the the dark horse in this group.

Group B consists of European Champions 2008, Manchester United and will play against CSKA Moscow, Besiktas of Turkey and VfL Wolfsburg from Germany. Manchester was the runners-up to Barcelona in the last season of the European Champions.

Group C will have AC Milan and nine time European champion Real Madrid together and will face Olympique Marsellie and FC Zurich in the group.

Group D has Chelsea who would be trying hard to win the trophy for the first time under their new coach Carlo Ancelotti. Carlo was a previous winner as a player and coach with Milan and his club Chelsea will clash against Porto, Atletico Madrid and APOEL Nicosia. APOEL Nicosia will be taking part for the first time in the league.

Group E includes teams like Liverpool, Lyon, Fiorentina and Debrecen.

Group F
has the champions Barcelona who look to defend its title playing against Inter Milan, Dynamo Kiev of Ukraine and Russian new comers Rubin Kazan.

Group G
, which is considered to be the weakest among all the group has Sevilla, Rangers, Stuttgart and Unirea Urziceni.

Group H
has Arsenal along with AZ Alkmaar, Olympiakos and Standard Liege.

The competition will start in mid September with the final to be played in Madrid in next May.
