Union MHRD minister Dr Nishank bats for universal quality of education in Kendriya Vidyalays
Addressing the eighth annual meet of Deputy Commissioners of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan, the Union Minister of MHRD Dr RP Nishank stated to ensure quality of education in Kendriya Vidyalayas, the vacant posts will be filled up shortly and selection list of selected functionaries will be released on July 8.

He emphasized the need for universal quality in education. He urged the delegates to stress on the cultivation of good habits among students to become change agents. Especially, cleanliness and water conservation habits should be taken up in mission mode, he called upon the participants.

The MHRD, in a tweet, announced that the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan will be declaring the results for the recruitment exams conducted for over 7,622 posts within one week's time. Also, in a tweet, the KVS Commissioner announced the result date as July 8 and time of release of list as 11 am.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is an autonomous body under the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD). Presently, 1207 KVs are functioning in which around 12.75 lakh students are studying in these schools.

Meanwhile, KVS Commissioner announced the result date. He tweeted to the effect that the result to be released on July 8 at 11 am.

In KVs, a uniform curriculum split into units is followed by these schools all over India. This had been done to ensure that the children of transferable government employees of eligible categories do not face education disadvantages when their parents are transferred from one place of posting to another.

It has been reported that the chairman of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is Union Human Resource Development Minister and the deputy chairman is Minister of State of MHRD.
