THE MUCH awaited result of Uttar Pradesh Polytechnic Joint Entrance Exam has been declared. The result of the exam, which was conducted on May 31 and June 1 and 2, was expected to be declared early in June itself, but it was delayed due to unknown reasons.
Now, as the result is out Uttar Pradesh based candidates are gearing up for online counsellings. However, outside-UP students will have to wait, as they will allotted seats only if no other UP student qualifies.
The JEEC 2009 is conducted to admission provide admission to engineering diploma / PG diploma / agriculture diploma/ hotel management diploma / pharmacy diploma, etc, in state funded / aided polytechnics and private polytechnics/ institutions affiliated to Board Of Technical Education, UP, Lucknow.
According to the Board's official website, based on merit/ranks in JEEC-2009, the centralised counseling will be conducted on-line through Internet in two phases. In Phase-I, which will be off-campus on-line, the candidates can exercise their choices at place of their convenience to know about indicative choice allotment at frequent intervals. Phase-II will be on-campus on-line, where eligible candidates will be required to report at pre-specified counseling centers for registration and final choice submission.
