US to face one of the most dangerous hurricanes ever
As United States of America is recovering from the devastation caused by Harvey, it is bracing itself to prepare for another major hurricane that might be even more devastating than Harvey.

As per meteorological experts, hurricane Irma is going to hit the Florida state of the United States and could lead to devastation that has never been seen in decades.

As a result of the warnings, hundreds of thousands of people living in Florida have left to safer places. The hurricane is expected to hit the state by Sunday morning. Authorities have declared emergency and the army has been asked to be prepared. The weather forecasts have said that Florida could see about 20 inches of rain and massive winds as the weather deteriorates. Flights have been suspended and the government is trying to push in enough food and water.

Colleges and schools have been shut with public schools being turned into centres for providing shelter to the people who had to leave their houses.

The local administration has issued warnings and made the people aware of the upcoming danger and its extent. Many have said that this could be worse than Hurricane Andrew (1992) that had left Florida devastated.

Experts who have been tracking the formation and movement of the hurricane have said that it is southwest Florida that is especially in danger and is going to bear the maximum brunt of Irma but have also said that no part of south Florida can be termed safe.

The government has marked evacuation zones and has also said that the zones could be expanded depending upon the hurricane's movement. What makes the hurricane worse is that its bringing with itself winds with a hurricane force that could extend to about 70 miles from the centre and winds with tropical-storm intensity that could extend to as far as 185 miles.
