Use hashtag #SmallSmurfsBigGoals to spread happiness: UN on International Day of Happiness
On the occasion the International Day of Happiness (IDH) to be celebrated on March 21, the United Nations has invited 'each person of any age, plus every classroom, business and government' to participate in the observance by using hashtag #SmallSmurfsBigGoals.

It is since 2013, the United Nations has celebrated the International Day of Happiness as a way to recognize the importance of happiness in the lives of people around the world.

Furthermore, it was in 2015 that the UN launched 17 Sustainable Development Goals that seek to end poverty, reduce inequality, and protect the Earth" – three key aspects that lead to well-being and happiness.

"We are excited to announce that the Smurfs have rallied behind the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for this year's International Day of Happiness!

The United Nations invites each person of any age, plus every classroom, business and government to celebrate the International Day of Happiness using hashtag #SmallSmurfsBigGoals," wrote the UN on its website of the IDH.

Moreover, UNESCO had been advocating the concept of 'Happy Schools' by respecting and recognizing diversity of talents and intelligences of learners and enabling them to learn and celebrate their accomplishments.
