Use of offensive slang language in Indian movies should be prohibited
In India watching cinemas / movies and other soap operas through different television channels is proving to be a big hit with the masses. Entertainment business in India is a big business and is growing by leaps and bounds on an yearly basis.

During the last few years, an average movie watcher would agree to the fact that the usage of offensive slangs are regularly used in entertainment media with a view to catch the audience's attention perhaps with the belief that such usage of slangs may prove to be a hit with the masses. Be it with the movies or with film songs, some form of slang (generally offensive to some extent) has now become a regular feature.

Some people believe that whatever is depicted in cinemas are actually happening in the society and it could also be true that people learn many things by watching cinemas. Either way, the impact of cinemas on the society is huge in a country like India.

Experts need to debate the issue of curtailment of using offensive slang language in cinemas either through dialogue delivery in the movies or through lyrics in movie songs. The good thing that most of the producers and directors of cinemas and other entertainment media have learnt is to reach out the message that good always triumphs in the end. This message is indeed a must for the society at any point of time.

However, these producers and directors and all those connected with entertainment media should also be re-emphasized that usage of dubious / offensive slangs in movies or in songs may not go well with the society and therefore they should shun this mode of entertainment.

Society will benefit immensely if there is a big curtailment of usage of offensive language in entertainment media. Laws governing this particular aspect need to be strengthened to enable different directors and producers engaged in entertainment media to clearly understand these laws and abide by the same in the future by coming out with better and interesting themes acceptable to the masses all depicted through usage of nice and creative language.
