Media In India :

IN THIS present era of communication, everything needs to be publicising, whether it is news or any piece of information. With the opening of more and more TV channels, ad agencies, event management companies, the requirement of media had really increased.

On the top, the requirement of multimedia is in the field of journalism and to be updated with the currents information and news, the news channels have to constantly be in the field from where they can collect the news. The live reporting from the field and to send the piece to camera is possible due to multimedia only. In print journalism as well, there is a requirement of multimedia ie, in a newspaper, it is not only the text that we can see. It also contains pictures, advertisements, graphs etc and all these are possible with the help of multimedia.

In every industry whether hospitality, aviation, banking, insurance, science and technology etc, multimedia is being used in almost every field, either for publicising something or for some other motive. There are many institutes across the country that offer various kinds of courses in different fields of multimedia.

So, it is the time when only single medium of communication is not enough to communicate as this modern era is of multimedia.
