The closing ceremonies of the Paralympics Games 2010 will feature an athletes' parade through Whistler. Athlete tributes will be offered by performers from across Canada, including Quebec's popular folk band La Bottine Souriante and Whistler Youth. Whistler's Ali Milner will sing O Canada as a basketball court-sized Canadian flag is unfurled above the athletes' heads. While Milner sings, 125 able-bodied and disabled skiers will ski in a torch parade down Whistler Mountain.

International Paralympics Committee President Sir Philip Craven will be lowered the Paralympics flag and presented to the mayor of Sochi, Russia. Sochi, which will host the next Winter Olympic and Paralympics Games in 2014. The 2010 Vancouver Paralympics Games closing ceremony will broadcast on CTV in Canada and the closing ceremony will be the 70-minute show live.

During the last 10 days in Vancouver 2010 Paralympics Games, Russian Federation topped in medal count with 38 medals followed by Germany, Canada, Ukraine and United Stated. Canada won 19 medals with 10 gold whereas United States won 13 medals with 4 gold. USA won gold in Ice Sledge Hockey; Alana Nichols won gold in Women's Giant Slalom - Sitting Women’s Giant Slalom sitting event and Sitting Women’s Downhill - Sitting event and Stephani Victor won in Sitting Women’s Super Combined - Sitting event.
